Single Touch Payroll (STP) Configuration

JobBag connects to the ATO for Single Touch Payroll (STP) using the Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM).

To enable STP reporting, you’ll need to set up your digital identity, link your business, authorise users, and create your Machine Credential.

Both the business owner/Principal Authority and any authorised users must complete parts of this setup process.

  1. Set up digital identity- myGovID - The owner/principal authority for the business needs to set up and use myGovID to access the Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) site.
  2. Link your business - The owner/principal authority needs to link their business to the RAM site. See link for further instructions
  3. Authorise others - The owner/principal authority needs to set up other users to access the RAM site.

Note: users should be set up as a standard user with machine credential access rights.
