Create an M2M Machine Credential

A Machine Credential allows JobBag, on the specific computer it is installed on, to communicate directly with the ATO’s SBR Single Touch Payroll services. This secure connection method is known as M2M (machine-to-machine).

Only the Principal Authority or a Machine Credential Administrator for your business can create this credential.

Steps to Create a Machine Credential

Step 1: Log in to the ATO’s Authorisation Manager.

Step 2: Select View or manage authorisations, machine credentials and cloud software notifications.

Step 3: In the Manage authorisations tab, select your Entity.

Step 4: Go to Manage credentials.

Step 5: Select Create machine credential and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.
