Address Book Activity Log – Master File Changes Report
For SOX auditing and internal compliance, JobBag provides a report that tracks all changes made to the Address Book Master File. This report allows you to monitor all updates to clients, suppliers, employees, and contacts over a specified date range.
1. What the Report Shows
The report is grouped into four main categories:
A. New Records Added
- Clients
- Suppliers
- Employees
- Contacts
B. Changes Made
Any edits to clients, suppliers, or employees
Examples of changes include:
- Addresses updated
- Bank account details changed
- Contacts added, updated, or deleted
- Payroll information changes
C. Records Marked Inactive
- Any clients, suppliers, employees, or contacts marked as inactive during the reporting period
D. Records Marked Active
- Any clients, suppliers, employees, or contacts reactivated after being inactive
2. Generating the Report
- In the Address Book, click the Printer icon
Select Address Book Activity Log
Choose your output:
- PDF – Requires a password to view
- Email – Sends the report directly
Note: The report cannot be exported to Excel. PDF or email are the only available formats.
3. Reviewing Your Activity Log
It is recommended to review changes weekly to ensure all modifications are legitimate
Use the report to:
- Verify new records
- Check edits to existing records
- Confirm inactive and reactivated records
This ensures your Address Book data integrity and supports compliance and auditing requirements.
