Reactivate or Deactivate Address Book Records

In JobBag, you can delete a supplier or client record only if there are no outstanding invoices.

Deleted records remain in the database, allowing you to reactivate them later if needed.

Note: Deleting a record is different from making an Address Book record inactive.


Reactivating a Deleted Record

To reactivate a previously deleted Address Book record:

  1. Locate the deleted record in the Address Book
  2. Click Reactivate Deleted Record
  3. Confirm by clicking Yes
  4. The status of the record will change to Other
  5. Open the record, click Edit and then Active
  6. The record is now active and will function as a supplier or client as required

Deactivating an Active Record

  • To temporarily make a record inactive, simply edit the record and change the status to inactive
  • Inactive records remain in the database but will not appear in active worklists or selections until reactivated

This ensures you can manage your suppliers and clients without permanently losing historical data or records.
