Quotes and client Invoices
'The Quotes and Client Invoices privileges group allows users to create and approve quotes and client invoices, manage recurring invoices and view charge and costs rates.
Step 1: Navigate to User Maintenance
File menu > Administration > Quotes and Client Invoices > Double Click on a user Group (Administration, Account Service, Creative)
Step 2: Click on the Category - Quotes and Client Invoices
Step 3: Tick (select)/untick (deselect) privilege
- Tick box next to privilege to grant access
- Untick box next to privilege to remove access
- Note: The user needs to log off and back on for the privilege to take affect
Quotes and Client Invoices Privilege Description
| Privilege | Privilege Description |
| Amend invoices and credit notes | If selected the user will be able to create and edit invoices and credit notes issued to clients |
| Can create final invoice | If selected the user will be able to create a final invoice |
| Can invoice job without accepted quote | If selected the user will be able to invoice a job without an accepted quote |
| Can approve test invoices and credit notes | If selected the user will be able to approve test invoices and credit notes |
| Log invoices and credit notes | If selected the user will be able to log invoices and credit notes issued to clients |
| Create and manage recurring invoices | If selected the user will be able to create and edit recurring invoices |
| Modify quote/estimate or invoice defaults | If selected the user will be able to alter the Invoice, Credit Notes and Quote/Estimate defaults |
| Amend quotes and estimates | If selected the user will be able to create and edit quotes and estimates |
| Can approve quotes and estimates | If selected the user will be able to approve quotes and estimates |
| Can accept quotes and estimates | If selected the user will be able to mark quotes and estimates as accepted |
| Can't 'unaccept' quotes and estimates | If selected the user will not be able to 'unaccept' quotes and estimates |
| Can't edit accepted quotes and estimates | If selected the user can not edit blessed quotes and estimates |
| Only quotes and estimate for own division | If selected the user will not have access to invoices, quotes and estimates for any but their own division. |
| Can view rate/mark-up for quotes and estimates | If selected the rate/mark-up will be visible as an optional column in quotes and estimates detail . |
| Can edit rate/mark-up for quotes and estimates | If selected the user can edit the rate/mark-up in quotes and estimates detail . |
| Can print unapproved quotes and estimates | If selected the user can print unapproved quotes and estimates |
Step 4: Ask users to log out
Note: The user needs to log off and back on for the privilege to take affect
