How to Set up Email in JobBag using Gmail (OAuth)
Email Integration with Gmail using OAuth in JobBag
JobBag supports email integration with Gmail via OAuth authentication, enabling you to send invoices, purchase orders, payslips, and other emails directly from within JobBag.
Before You Start
You will need your GMAIL email address and password.
Steps to Set Up Gmail Integration in JobBag:
- Navigate to:
File > Preferences > JobBag Config > Email Settings
- Select: Gmail (OAuth) option
- Click Send Test Email.
- Your browser will open and ask you to log into GMAIL and authorise JobBag to send email on your account. Enter your user email address and password in the GMAIL window.
- Return to JobBag and close the Preferences window - Click on OK.
This process will provide JobBag with a token which authorises JobBag to send your email via GMAIL.
Important Notes:
Authentication Expiry:
The token will expire after a period of time, mostly it will be renewed automatically. In rare circumstances you may need to log into GMAIL as described above to authorise a new token. If you send email regularly out of JobBag, this should not happen.
