Installation Instructions for Microsoft Version

To ensure a smooth installation of JobBag, it’s important to first remove any previous versions of the software from your computer. Once uninstalled, follow the steps below to download and install the latest version. If you’re unsure of your database details or need assistance at any point, our support team is here to help.


Installation Steps:

  1. Go to https://yourdatabasename.myjobbag.com.au in your browser.

    (Contact JobBag Support if you're unsure of your database name.)

  2. Click the Windows icon to begin the download.
  3. Save the file to your Downloads folder.
  4. Go to your Downloads folder, right-click the file, and select Open.
  5. The installer will launch — click Next.
  6. Accept the license agreement, then click Next.
  7. Change the installation directory to:

    C:\Program Files\JobBagv8 (adding “ the version number” helps prevent conflicts with older versions)

  8. Click Next to begin installation.
  9. Wait for the installation to complete — this may take several minutes.
  10. Once finished, click Finish with "Launch JobBag" selected.
  11. Be patient — some systems may take time to open the app.
  12. When prompted, enter your serial number and company details.
  13. You’ll see the JobBag login screen. Enter your database name, username, and password.
