I don’t have any tasks assigned; can I still do a timesheet?

Yes. Use the Create > Timesheet option and log time directly to a job or client without a task.

How do I choose the right Kind for my timesheet?

  • The Kind field classifies your time (e.g., Billable, Internal, Leave)

Choose based on what you were working on:

    • Billable = Client/project work
    • Non-Billable = Admin, meetings, internal training

If unsure, check with your manager or HR.

How can I avoid someone logging time to closed projects?

  • Admins should ensure:
    • Jobs are marked as completed or dead
    • Ensure that the privilege is ticked which prevents users from logging time on a complete or dead job
  • Users will receive a warning or be blocked from logging time on closed jobs

Can I fill in a timesheet for someone else?

Only users with the appropriate permissions (e.g., managers or admins) can create or edit timesheets for others.
