Third Party Commissions

Third Party Commissions are payments made to a middleman for helping connect a seller with a buyer. They are usually a percentage of either the gross or net sale price, and serve as a fee for making the sale happen.


Add Third Party Commission

  • Navigate to: Job > Action bar > Add Third Party Commission
  • Click on the Add 3rd party commission button in the media plan screen.
  • Select the relevant Phase and Supplier. Select if the commission is to apply to gross or net value, or to be billed to client.
  • Adjust percentages individually per line if required.
  • Complete the form by clicking the green Create button.

When the Purchase Order(s) are created, 3rd party commissions are shown in the 'Comm' column.


JobBag's media supplier address book record can store a default percentage for these commissions. The percentage can be edited for each commission as required.

  • Navigate to: JobBag menu > Address book > Media Suppliers > Edit button
  • Fill in the percentage in the Supplier: Media section.
