Step 1 – Reconcile & Approve Leave
Step 1 – Reconcile & Approve Leave
The Browse Leave Events window is used by payroll administrators and authorised managers to review, reconcile, and approve employee leave.
From this screen, administrators can:
- Enter leave on behalf of employees
- Approve leave requests
- Send approval notifications to managers
- Review leave balances and history
Important:
All leave must be approved before it will appear on a payslip and before processing the payroll for that cycle.
Standard leave types—Annual Leave, Personal Leave, and Public Holidays—are included in JobBag’s default payroll configuration. Any additional leave types must be created and mapped separately.

Leave Processing Options
Process 1 – Employees Enter Their Leave

Process 2 – Payroll Administrator Enters Leave
Employees submit a paper or email leave form.
The payroll administrator enters the leave event into JobBag and sends it for approval (if required), before approving it for payroll processing.
