Custom Fields (Job Details)

Custom Fields, also known as Job Details, let you tailor how you track and manage jobs in JobBag.

They offer nearly endless flexibility, helping you group, sort, search, and monitor jobs according to your team’s specific needs.

Why Use Job Details?

Use Job Details when you want to:

• Add custom data to Jobs
• Group similar jobs for easy review in a Worklist
• Sort or filter Jobs by specific data fields
• Track consistent information across all Jobs (e.g., Work Stage, Pitch Status)
• Prompt team members to enter required information when setting up or updating Jobs

Tie Job Statuses to Dates or Assigned Employees

Use Job Status changes in combination with Job Detail fields to reflect your workflow.

For example:

• When a Job moves from Awaiting Approval to Client Approved, add a Date field or assign an Employee to action the next step.
• When a Job is Awaiting Brief, include a Brief Due Date to remind the team to follow up.

These fields give valuable context and can be monitored in your Worklists.

Analyse Project Wins, Losses & Feedback

For Prospect entries in the Address Book:

• Set up a Source field to identify where leads come from.
• Add a Feedback field to record why projects were lost.

This information becomes invaluable for evaluating and improving your approach to new business.

Sort and Filter Job Details

You can view Job Details in columns within the Worklist.

• Use the Filter field to narrow down results.
• Click the caret in any column to sort alphabetically or numerically.
