Configuration: Notifications

JobBag sends two types of notifications:

1. Global Notifications

Set by the organisation to keep relevant team members informed of key changes (e.g. when a task goes over budget).

To set up, go to File menu > Configuration > Notifications

  • Click the + button to add a notification.
  • Choose a notification type (e.g. "Notify Account Executive when a task goes over budget").
  • Refine by Kind or Job Type if needed.

2. Personal Notifications

Set by individual users to track specific events—like changes to a particular job or task.

To set up, go to Stats menu > Notifications

  • Click the Settings (⚙️) button
  • Click the + icon to add a new notification
  • Choose the type of notification and filter by Job Name, Type, or Status if needed
  • Click Save to apply
