Transfer of Funds Between Accounts

The Transfer Funds Between Accounts feature allows you to move funds between your bank accounts using a single transaction.

Note: Both bank accounts must already exist in the Address Book.

Tip: One account can be “Petty Cash.” Transfers involving third parties must be processed via Payments or Receipts, not this function.

Privileges: You must have the appropriate system access to use this feature.


Steps to Transfer Funds

  1. Navigate to: Accounts > Transfer Between Accounts
  2. Accept or update the Date.
  3. Accept or update the Period.
  4. Select the Payment Method.
  5. Choose the From and To accounts from the drop-down lists.
  6. Enter the Amount to be transferred.
  7. Add Notes detailing the reason, authority, or instructions for the transfer.
  8. Press [Enter] to save the transfer.

This process ensures accurate fund movement between accounts without affecting other transactions.
