Overhead Expense Forecasts

Overhead budgets can be set for the entire company, specific divisions, or one-off projects (e.g. office moves, server upgrades). To set up a budget for the first time, start from the Forecast tab in the job window.

How to Set Up an Overhead Budget Forecast

  1. Create an Overhead Budget Job.
  2. Go to the Forecast tab.
  3. Click the green ‘+’ button to see available expense kinds.
  4. Select the expense kinds to include.
  5. Click Select to save.

    Enter budget amounts—either in the Full Year column or by month.

    • If any expense kinds are missing, click ‘+’ again to add them.

How to Print the Budget Report

  1. Go to: Costing > Overhead Budget.
  2. Select the job and click the Print icon.
  3. Choose your print options.
  4. A sample report will then be generated.
