Overhead Expense Forecasts
Overhead budgets can be set for the entire company, specific divisions, or one-off projects (e.g. office moves, server upgrades). To set up a budget for the first time, start from the Forecast tab in the job window.
How to Set Up an Overhead Budget Forecast
- Create an Overhead Budget Job.
- Go to the Forecast tab.
- Click the green ‘+’ button to see available expense kinds.
- Select the expense kinds to include.
Click Select to save.
Enter budget amounts—either in the Full Year column or by month.
- If any expense kinds are missing, click ‘+’ again to add them.
How to Print the Budget Report
- Go to: Costing > Overhead Budget.
- Select the job and click the Print icon.
- Choose your print options.
- A sample report will then be generated.
