Request Leave in JBX
The Leave feature provides users visibility of their current leave balances, allows users to request leave, check status and calculate future leave balance for any planned leave.
Accessing Leave in JBX
You can log your leave in JobBag (JBX) using either a web browser or the desktop application.
🌐 Web Browser
Open your preferred browser
Enter or paste your database URL (e.g.):
https://yourdatabasename.myjobbag.com.au
At the login screen, enter:
- Username
- Password
💻 Desktop Version
If you’re using the desktop version of JobBag:
- Navigate to:
JobBag menu > JBX > Leave
- This will open JBX in your browser to access the full timesheet interface
Request Leave
Leave requests can be initiated through the dashboard and the dedicated leave feature
Calculate Leave
Users can calculate the future leave balance and then request leave
Lets explore the features available in the leave window
- Dashboard: The dashboard shows the user their current available leave balance and any up and coming leave days. Here they can request leave and calculate their future leave balance.
- Leave Window: Alternatively, the leave feature provides a more comprehensive summary of all leave, past, future and present. Users can check the status of all leave requests, pending, approved or paid. Here they can request leave and calculate their future leave balance.
- Leave Events: Annual leave, Personal leave and Public holidays can be viewed and managed in the calendar view of the tasks and timesheet feature.
By offering both dashboard-based leave request capabilities and a dedicated leave feature, users have the flexibility to choose the method that best suits their preferences and workflow. Whether submitting a quick leave request through the dashboard or accessing comprehensive leave management tools within the dedicated feature, the goal is to provide users with a seamless and intuitive experience for managing their leave.
