    Division Groups:

    Gives you the ability to group together several divisions into a single reporting entity. They are solely used for reporting.

    Divisions:

    Divisions allows you to divide your business into units each with their own ledger and gives you the ability to report on them individually. Divisions can be based on location, internal departments or any other way that suits your business best. The general rule is for all divisions within one Division Group to use the same currency - please contact JobBag support if the divisions will be using different currencies.

    Navigate to File > Config > Companies and Divisions to configure.

    Create a Division Group

    Step 1: If you wish to add a division group

    Highlight on company name and click on the green plus sign

    Step 2: Complete the following screen

    Field Name

    Description

    Div group code

    User defined unique code

    Div group name

    User defined unique name )

    Step 3: Click on OK

    Add divisions to a 'division group'

    Step 1: Highlight 'division group' and select “Add division to ....”

    Step 2: Complete the following screen

    NOTE: Adding the job number here creates the job. The job for the division is used to capture costs for all transactions for that division.
