    Job Details or Custom Fields

    Custom fields, aka Job Details, help you track work according to your team's needs. The name and value of these fields are up to you and possibilities are almost endless. Use Job Details where you:- 

    • Want to add data to your Jobs;
    • Need to give your Jobs additional context, so you can group and review similar ones for easy viewing in the Worklist;
    • Need to sort or search by specific data fields;
    • Have standard information you need to track across all Jobs (e.g., time costing, work stage, pitch status);
    • Want to make sure your teammates fill out certain information for each Job.

    Change a Job Status with a related Date or Assigned Employee 

    Ever wondered which Jobs needed to have Briefs chased up? Or which Team or Employee should look at a Job when client approval is received? 

    • Set up Job Statuses to reflect your business processes. 
    • Set up Job detail fields like the examples below. 

          • When a Job status moves from Awaiting Approval to Client Approved, a Date or Team member Custom Field can be added. 
          • When a Job status is Awaiting Brief, a custom Date field called Brief Due Date gives more context for teams monitoring to know when to chase up the brief. 

    • Monitor Job Detail fields in your Worklist(s), so you know what needs actioning.

    Analyse project wins, losses and feedback received

    For Prospect Address Book entries, set up Source and Feedback Detail fields. Source can be used to identify project leads. Feedback can be used to enter reason for loss of the project. When reviewing your prospects, this information can be used to identify what needs improvement. 


    Sort and Filter

    For example, the columns Channel and Discussion Category shown below are Job Details. 

    Type in the Filter field to see only what you need to. 

    Use the carets in each column header to sort content alphabetically. 


    Job Detail types and limitations

    There are several different Job Detail types to choose from, which you can adjust to suit your purpose. 

    You can have as many fields are you want for your jobs. 

    Limitations: If a Job Detail name or options are changed after the field is in use, the original field data will remain on the job. until the specific job detail is edited. 

    CharacterField to enter text.
    Can be a drop down selection list. Can be single or multi-select.
    Whole NumberField to enter whole numbers (eg., 0,1 ,2).
    Can be a drop down selection list. Can be single or multi-select.
    Floating point numberField to enter numbers with a decimal point (eg., 1.235)
    Can be a drop down selection list. Can be single or multi-select.
    Yes / No User chooses from Yes or No options. 
    Date Field to enter a date.
    Time Field to enter a time.
    Date and Time Field to enter a date. and a time.
    Address Book LookupField that triggers the Address Book search window.
    Client Lookup Field that triggers the Address Book - Clients search window.
    Supplier Lookup Field that triggers the Address Book - Suppliers search window.
    Employee LookupField that triggers the Address Book - Employees search window.
    Jobs LookupField that triggers the Jobs search window.
