Renew M2M Machine Credentials

Machine credentials only last 2 years from creation, You need to renew your machine credential so that you can continue STP reporting. You need to renew your M2M credential before your existing one runs out otherwise you will be unable to report via STP and penalties may apply. Steps to be taken to renew your machine credential.

You may get this JobBag message when your M2M credential expires:

Step 1: Check the expiry date of your existing machine credential (If months away set a reminder for one month before expiry). You may receive an email from the ATO to renew the machine credentials

- Log on to Authorisation Manager https://authorisationmanager.gov.au/#/login

- Go to View or manage authorisations, machine credentials and cloud software notifications

- Select Entity

- Go to Manage credentials

Step 2: Use existing password to renew key store file.
