    Introduction

    The process below allows you to plan and manage digital media and production “type” within one single job.

    Ensure the user has access to media planning

    1. Configure Access to Media Module

    1. Ensure You have access to the media planning tab. If you have just received a media license, click on “File > Administration > renew JobBag license”.

    2. Enter a License password. Contact a JobBag consultant to help with this password if required.

    2. Create a Kind code for Media Production expenses

    Note: General Ledger accounts are required - either use existing accounts or create new accounts codes


    3. Configure Default Planning Template for internal production work

    Note: The aim is to create tasks for the internal production work; this is not a template for media plans

    1 Click on File > Configuration > Jobs > Job types


    2 Click on to create a new job type

    3 Click on the “default planning” icon in the tool bar


    4 Click on the “edit” icon


    5 Click on “Add kinds” tab to add kinds to the default template


    6 Select kind codes from list


    7 Click on the “save” icon to complete creation of default template

    4 Create an inhouse supplier as a media supplier

    An inhouse supplier is required to process “inhouse production tasks” when the media plan is created

    You have two options -either:

    • update the HOUSE address book record to be a “media supplier”

    or create another address book media supplier record and use this supplier for “inhouse work”

    Update HOUSE record to include “media supplier” classification:


    OR Create an Inhouse Media Supplier Record
