    Create a media job

    What is in the Media Planning Screen?

    Click on the Media Planning tab in the job window.

    What is in the “Media Planning” window?

    The screen is very wide - below there are two screen shots.

    There are two (Header types) rows of information.

    Header Row One


    Click on the arrows and select one of the following options to show the date range of the media plan



    Enter start and end dates of the media plan to see this view of the plan when show days is selected

    Click on the Date range button to select one of the date range options from the list

    You have an option to take a snapshot and save versions of the plan. Select take snapshot, give it a name and it will be visible along with the current plan.

    Tick option if you wish to view cost totals for date range


    When dealing with overseas clients you can select to view either the schedule or division currency


    This is a filter; tick on options eg Planned and / or Booked and / or Invoiced media that you would like to see in the plan.

    The Columns in the Media Plan Screen

    The media plan is displayed in this section.


    Click the settings button and select columns you require:


    Select media outlet from drop down list


    Select kind code


    Displays target audience if you entered it when the plan was created


    Displays description if you entered it when the plan was created


    Displays notes if you entered information when the plan was created


    this is a fixed display - displays the schedule depending on selection criteria


    Displays the no of media spots


    Displays supplier rate


    Displays supplier amount which is units multiplied by supplier rate


    Commission receivable from supplier

    Displays exchange rate margin percentage if it is used for the plan


    Displays net payable to supplier


    Displays mark up / rebate
    Refer tp page: media modes and mark ups


    Displays amount billed to client


    This is calculated: (amount billed to client-supplier net amount)/amount billed to client
    Refer to page: revenue percentage


    Displays third party commission paid
    refer to page: third party commission
