How to process a Resignation payslip

Use this process to create a final payslips when your employee has resigned.
Resignation Payslip
Enter a final date in employee's payroll header in the address book record
Navigate to: > Employment / PAYG tab on the employee's address book record
Edit the payroll header; enter the end date and leave reason for a resignation this would be Voluntary Cessation.
The above process automatically enters a last day in the employee's employment record.
Create manual/final pays
Navigate to: Payroll > Step 2 manual/final pays
Enter the following information:

Pay date | Date of payment |
Period | Date of payment creates default period; you may have an option to select a prior period if your processing period is not the current month |
Pay period from | Start date of payslip - JobBag fills this automatically; please check if the date is the day after the last payslip |
Pay period until | Last date of employment - JobBag fills this automatically; please check if this is the correct date |
Tab through until the lines on the payslip appear and a payslip for final pay is created. Final pay option is ticked by JobBag.
Please select a reason, usually "T - all other pays".
Note: unused leave will be automatically added to the payslip and tax will be calculated at marginal rates, you may need to adjust ordinary hours and unused leave. Remember to zero out the personal leave.
