Overview

If you are a new employee, you have to complete a Tax File Number Declaration (TFND). This process is now completed by you when you log into your myGov account and provide details of your new employment.

You will need your new employer's ABN, get this from the Accountant for your employer.

The aim of the instructions below is to show how to complete the process of providing your TFND via myGov. We do not provide detailed instructions on which options to select when completing your TFND information.
