Statements for your clients
Client Statements allows you to send a statement to your clients each month. The statement will outline what is outstanding at any given month.
Process of Creating Statements For Your Clients
1 Navigate to: Reports > Accounts Reports
2 Select 'Client Statements' from drop down list of reports
3 Select options you wish to print on the statement
Field | Description |
Statement dated | Statement date appears on statement |
Show 'Attention' line | Client's financial contact |
Show order numbers | Client's order numbers which were added on the job |
Show job numbers | The job for which the invoice was created |
Show job title | The title of the job for which the invoice was created |
Show job contact | The contact on the job which was being invoiced |
Suppress: Ignore period | Lists all invoices created up the date of the statement |
Suppress future period transactions | Does not include future period transaction eg system is in period Feb 2023 - therefore any transactions after Feb 2023 period will not be listed |
Suppress current and future period transactions | If system in in Feb 2023, it will not print Feb 2023 period transactions and future period transactions |
Only include outstanding amounts | For any period options - only outstanding invoices are printed |
Re-evaluate historic data | this will include data you have already reported on |
Age by due date | lists outstanding invoices by due date |
Age by issue date | lists outstanding invoices by issue date |
Age by issue month | lists outstanding invoices by issue month |
Age by period | lists outstanding invoices by period |
Report business units by client if applicable | Some clients are linked to a parent company; select this option if you wish to print a single statement for the parent company listing all invoices for the business units of the parent company. |
Select clients by division | Select divisions if you have more than one division |
Select clients | Select clients |
Print text bloc | select a a text bloc if you have a predefined text bloc for client statements |
From one statement run to the next, there are new transactions that will appear on a statement. The new invoices will continue to appear on a statement until they are paid in full. Once you have printed a statement this message is asking if all invoices that have been paid in full that have appeared on this statement can be marked so they don't appear on the next statement run. |
